报道称，枪击发生后，所有来往拉斯维加斯麦卡伦国际机场的航班一度暂停升降。赌场外发现一辆黑色汽车，内有一个“有电线伸出”的可疑装置，暂未确定是否炸弹。
拉斯维加斯警方通过社交媒体呼吁民众不要前往事发地点周边，且不要通过社交媒体直播警方的战术行动或分享位置，以免给警察造成危险。
