据《环球邮报》(Globe and Mail) 报道，新华社驻渥太华记者李保东早在2018年5月底就申请续签其访问者居留许可（visitor record），到现在仍未获批。这并不妨碍他继续以外国媒体记者的身份在加拿大工作，但没有合法居留身份意味着他无法自由出入加拿大。他的妻子也面临同样问题。 9 ?6 T- j8 b; ^% h+ Q: B8 f.
